Job title: Scrum Master – Data & Analytics
Role Summary:
Facilitate and coach cross‑functional Agile teams within a global Data & Analytics organization, ensuring adherence to Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices. Lead Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, promote continuous improvement, and align team delivery with D&A priorities.
Expectations:
- Deliver mature, high‑performing Agile teams capable of consistently delivering data, analytics, and AI solutions.
- Enable product owners and developers to apply Agile principles, creating self‑organizing, accountable teams.
- Drive measurable improvements in velocity, cycle time, and quality through coaching and data‑driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach Product Owners, Developers, Analysts, and other stakeholders on Agile best practices.
- Identify and eliminate roadblocks, escalating risks, blockers, and capacity issues to program leadership.
- Track and analyze team metrics (velocity, burn‑down, cycle time) to inform coaching and decisions.
- Support distributed teams and ensure alignment with D&A program objectives.
- Collaborate with PMO to maintain delivery standards and evolve shared Agile templates, tools, and ceremonies.
- Contribute to the Agile community of practice, promoting consistency across teams.
Required Skills:
- 4–6 years of Scrum Master or Agile coaching experience, preferably in data or tech environments.
- Deep knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe frameworks.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and coaching abilities across diverse roles and cultures.
- Proficiency with Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, Aha!, Rally).
- Data‑driven mindset: ability to track metrics and translate insights into action.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) strongly preferred.
