Firms and individuals must be authorised or registered by us to carry out certain activities. Before we grant authorisation, firms must demonstrate that they meet a range of requirements. We then supervise these firms to make sure they continue to meet our standards and rules after they're authorised. If firms and individuals fail to meet these standards, we have a range of enforcement powers we can use.

Job Description

**Job Title** Salesforce DevOps Engineer **Role Summary** Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable Salesforce cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Ensure environments meet quality, reliability, and compliance standards while supporting change and operational needs. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑standard DevOps services to the Product Group. - Maintain, monitor, and evolve Salesforce environments across the release lifecycle. - Foster collaboration with developers, product owners, and support teams to optimize infrastructure performance and cost‑efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** - Build, improve, and operate Salesforce cloud infrastructure and applications. - Manage and maintain all Salesforce environments, ensuring strict access, configuration, and version control. - Deliver and support cloud services that meet organizational standards for quality and reliability. - Monitor platforms for security and design compliance; manage incidents and change requests. - Maintain environment inventories, schedule usage, and align test and live systems. - Collaborate with project and support teams to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and enhance usability. - Test and validate environments against standards while continuously improving performance and cost efficiency. - Develop and maintain environment management processes, promote security compliance, and support adoption across teams. **Required Skills** - Proven experience as a Salesforce DevOps Engineer and Administrator within a large organization. - In‑depth knowledge of Salesforce DevOps concepts, tooling, and best practices. - Proficiency with branching models, automated deployment, release pipelines (Git, Jenkins or GitHub Actions, PowerShell/Bash). - Familiarity with Copado (preferred), JIRA, Datadog, and related monitoring/logging tools. - Experience authoring AWS infrastructure code for enterprise‑scale architectures. - Strong root‑cause analysis and post‑incident remediation skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Agile methodology expertise (Scrum, Kanban) and experience coaching teams on environment‑management frameworks. **Required Education & Certifications** - Salesforce Administrator or Developer certification. - Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and enterprise operations is advantageous. - Familiarity with Prince2, Agile, and related program management practices.
