Job Title: Technical Specialist
Role Summary:
Senior Salesforce technical specialist responsible for end‑to‑end solution design, development, and administration of Salesforce platform solutions (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud). Leads configuration, custom coding, data migration, integration, and reporting efforts while working in iterative Agile/Scrum environments.
Expectations:
- Deliver high‑quality, scalable Salesforce implementations that meet business requirements.
- Maintain architecture and best‑practice standards across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate cross‑functionally with technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and customize Salesforce applications, including Apex, SOQL, Lightning Components, and JavaScript.
- Build, deploy, and manage Salesforce Communities and integration points via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Perform data model analysis, data migration, and data integration using tools such as Data Loader, Jitterbit, MuleSoft, and Salesforce Outlook connector.
- Create and maintain standard and custom Salesforce reports and dashboards.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution design, and test plans.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives; track progress and mitigative risks.
- Evaluate and recommend Salesforce tools and processes (e.g., Flosum for release management, OwnBackup for data backup).
Required Skills:
- 8–10 years of IT operations experience with at least 5 years in Salesforce development and administration.
- Hands‑on experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Component Framework, JavaScript, data migration, and API integration (REST & SOAP).
- Proficiency with Salesforce data model, standard reporting tools, and data loading utilities.
- Strong grasp of CRM concepts and Salesforce application architecture.
- Scrum/Agile methodology experience; comfortable working in fast‑paced development cycles.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Salesforce.com Developer or Administrator certification (preferred).
- Any additional Salesforce certifications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, etc.) are an advantage.
