Job Title: Senior System Administrator
Role Summary:
Senior System Administrator responsible for managing and securing Microsoft Azure, Azure Virtual Machines, Microsoft 365, and Nutanix environments. Tasks include deploying and maintaining cloud servers, performing vulnerability and patch management, monitoring resource utilization, enforcing security policies, and supporting compliance and incident detection initiatives.
Expactations:
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration with a focus on virtual machine, cloud, and security management.
- Proven ability to design, deploy, and maintain secure infrastructure across Azure, Nutanix, and Microsoft 365 platforms.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment, patching processes, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently on complex projects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams for special initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor security controls to protect data and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Design, provision, and maintain Azure cloud servers, Azure VMs, Microsoft 365 services, and Nutanix infrastructure.
- Manage patching and vulnerability remediation for Windows VMs and overall platform.
- Monitor CPU, memory, storage utilization, and optimize cloud resource usage.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate system vulnerabilities, potential threats, and anomalous activities.
- Maintain baseline configurations and detect deviations from standard settings.
- Lead and support special projects as assigned, delivering timely updates and outcomes.
- Provide detection, identification, and alerting of security incidents, intrusions, or misuse.

Required Education & Certifications:
