Job Description
**Job Title:** Global Cloud Solution Lead **Role Summary:** Lead the strategy, governance, and operational excellence of a multinational Azure cloud platform. Own the full solution lifecycle, drive the Cloud Center of Excellence, and serve as the primary liaison for cloud vendors and managed service partners while ensuring stability, security, and scalability across the enterprise. **Expectations:** - Define and enforce cloud strategy, architecture, and compliance standards. - Build and coach high‑performing, agile cloud teams focused on continuous improvement. - Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, contracts, and escalations to maintain service quality. - Promote cloud adoption organization‑wide through training, documentation, and collaboration with IAM, Network, Security, and Communications groups. - Apply ITSM/ITIL processes to incident, change, problem, and knowledge management. **Key Responsibilities:** - Set direction and priorities for Azure cloud services and lifecycle management. - Lead the Cloud Center of Excellence with a servant‑leadership approach. - Oversee Managed Service Provider performance and Microsoft vendor interactions. - Monitor and enforce service level agreements, contract terms, and billing. - Drive agile delivery of cloud initiatives, ensuring business value. - Coordinate cross‑functional integration with security, networking, and identity teams. - Maintain governance frameworks that enable rapid yet controlled innovation. - Produce and update technical documentation, training material, and knowledge base entries. **Required Skills:** - Extensive experience managing cloud vendors and Managed Service Providers. - Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and architecture (IaaS, PaaS, serverless), preferably Azure. - Proven ability to lead technical teams in large, complex environments. - Strong understanding of both technical and strategic aspects of cloud adoption. - Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes (highly desirable). - Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills in English; Dutch a plus. - Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and drive continuous improvement. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate) preferred. - ITIL Foundation or higher certification advantageous.
