Job Description
**Job Title:** Business Development Representative **Role Summary:** Drive growth in the ERP and retail technology market by qualifying and nurturing inbound/outbound leads, converting them into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), and ensuring seamless handover to the sales team. Act as a brand ambassador at events and collaborate closely with marketing and sales leadership. **Expectations:** - Generate a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities. - Maintain high data quality in HubSpot CRM. - Provide actionable feedback on lead quality and campaign performance. - Meet or exceed defined lead conversion and activity targets. - Represent the company professionally at trade shows and industry events. **Key Responsibilities:** - Contact and engage leads via phone, email, social, and digital channels. - Assess prospects on fit, needs, budget, timeline, and decision‑makers. - Nurture early‑stage opportunities to become SQLs. - Document all interactions and updates in HubSpot CRM. - Align with Sales Executives for smooth opportunity handoff. - Support outbound campaigns, account‑based marketing, and lead‑qualification process improvements. - Assist at trade shows, exhibitions, partner events, and conferences; qualify on‑site leads and ensure follow‑up. - Report on pipeline activity, conversion rates, and market insights to the Sales & Marketing Director. **Required Skills:** - 5+ years in Business Development, SDR, or Inside Sales. - Proven experience selling B2B software, ERP, SaaS, or within Microsoft partner ecosystems. - Strong lead‑qualification and pipeline‑management expertise. - Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders. - Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive. - Collaborative, commercially minded, and resilient under targets. - Strong relationship‑building, active listening, and negotiation abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., HubSpot CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365) are a plus but not mandatory.
