Job Description
**Job Title** Product Manager (Product Owner) **Role Summary** Lead end‑to‑end development and commercialisation of deep‑tech products for UK industry. Drive market discovery, product vision, pricing, and stakeholder alignment over a 1‑year fixed‑term contract. **Expectations** - Deliver a commercially viable product roadmap for high‑value deep‑tech solutions. - Own the product backlog, prioritise features, and ensure timely delivery and quality. - Work closely with technical teams and external customers to translate needs into product requirements. - Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, balancing technical detail with business impact. **Key Responsibilities** - Identify and validate market opportunities, customer personas and pain points. - Define product vision, roadmap, and scalable configurations. - Build and present business cases, pricing models, and commercial viability assessments. - Translate stakeholder and customer input into clear product requirements. - Prioritise and manage product backlog using Agile practices. - Oversee development, QA, deployment and performance monitoring to meet quality standards. **Required Skills** - Proven product‑management experience with strong stakeholder engagement. - Expertise in market research, opportunity validation and persona development. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving and detail orientation. - Proficiency in Agile frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). - Knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, IoT, 5G, immersive, blockchain). - Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to technical and non‑technical audiences. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred). - Product Management certifications (e.g., AIPMM, Pragmatic Marketing, Scrum Product Owner) are a plus.
