Job Specifications

We're looking for a commercially-minded Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of deep tech products that solve high-value problems for UK industry. You'll be responsible for identifying market opportunities, shaping product vision, and driving end-to-end product development and commercialisation. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of innovation, technology, and business strategy. This role is a 1 year fixed term contract.

This role is being advertised as a Product Manager, however, we will call this role a Product Owner internally.

WHAT YOU'LL DO (Duties)

Discover and validate market opportunities, personas, and high-value problems.
Define and evolve product vision, roadmap, and scalable configurations.
Lead product pricing and business case development to ensure commercial viability.
Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to translate needs into product requirements.
Manage product backlog and prioritise features based on value.
Oversee development, quality assurance, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

Proven experience in product management with strong stakeholder engagement.
Expertise in market research, opportunity validation, and customer persona development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
Understanding of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, 5G, immersive and blockchain.
Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
