Job Title: Infrastructure/Systems Engineer
Role Summary: Oversee and support enterprise infrastructure and application environments across Windows, Linux, Mac, and IoT/OT platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and operational efficiency through monitoring, automation, and collaboration with DevOps and security teams.
Expectations:
- Manage and sustain multi‑platform infrastructure and applications
- Drive technology initiatives (PoC, RFP, RFE) and maintain system reliability
- Configure and secure network components, devices, and access controls
- Administer servers and vendor ecosystems, and automate operations
- Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure
- Support IoT/OT device management, upgrades, and troubleshooting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provision, monitor, and upgrade enterprise servers (Windows, Linux, Mac) and IoT devices (Android, Windows, iOS, Unix, Linux)
- Configure routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, proxies, and DMZ environments; manage IP, port, subnet, and MAC settings
- Implement RBAC, Kerberos, SSO, LDAP, and Active Directory; enforce authentication and access controls
- Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Perl, Shell) to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure optimization
- Execute PoC, RFP, and RFE processes for new technology initiatives
- Work with security teams to apply approved controls and meet compliance standards
Required Skills:
- Proven experience managing enterprise infrastructure, servers, and networking environments
- Strong proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems; knowledge of CA Technologies, BMC, IBM DataPower
- Hands‑on scripting (PowerShell, Python, Shell, Perl) for automation
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience supporting IoT/OT environments and device management
- Network administration skills: routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, and DMZ configurations
- Security knowledge: RBAC, Kerberos, SSO, LDAP, Active Directory, and compliance implementation
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant certifications preferred: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or equivalent.
