Job Description
**Job Title** Manager, Operational Technology Support Services **Role Summary** Senior leader responsible for strategic planning, execution, and optimization of OT systems across North America. Ensures reliability, security, and innovation of industrial automation infrastructure while meeting regulatory and cybersecurity requirements. **Expectations** - Deliver end‑to‑end OT strategy aligned with corporate goals. - Manage cross‑functional teams and large‑scale projects. - Maintain 99 % SLA for break‑fix support. - Control CAPEX/OPEX and mitigate risk through ROF frameworks. - Drive continuous improvement and compliance with ISA, NIST, CSA, ISO standards. **Key Responsibilities** - **Strategic Planning & Leadership** – Define OT priorities, budgets, timelines; lead long‑term upgrade and process optimization plans. - **Team & Project Management** – Assemble and lead cross‑functional teams; supervise contractors; oversee performance, training, and development. - **Budget & Risk Oversight** – Control departmental budgets; provide inputs to Risk Management Framework; manage CAPEX/OPEX. - **Technical Operations & Integration** – Integrate PLCs with business LAN/WAN/MES; oversee maintenance of OT, control devices, utilities, safety systems; develop preventive maintenance programs. - **Cybersecurity & Compliance** – Ensure compliance with ISA 62443, NIST SP800‑82, CSA Z246.1, ISO 16484; serve as technical advisor on OT cybersecurity and industry trends. - **Stakeholder Engagement** – Build client relationships; provide technical support to other departments; support repeat engagements. **Required Skills** - Strong leadership and team‑building capabilities. - In‑depth knowledge of industrial protocols and cybersecurity frameworks. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and budgeting skills. - Ability to innovate while maintaining operational reliability and compliance. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Process Control, Systems Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 15 years experience in Automation/Process Control systems with leadership roles. - Minimum 15 years experience in industrial system integration, software engineering, network design, and virtualization. - Oil & Gas industry experience strongly preferred. - Certifications: P.Eng (Professional Engineer) required; ISA CAP; GICSP or equivalent preferred.
