Pengcorp Ltd. is seeking a Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves working with the team responsible for delivering new core functionality, enhancements, and defect fixes within current and new applications developed at Pengcorp C.A.

As the successful candidate, you are a strategic, collaborative problem solver. You will engage with stakeholders to document business requirements, participate in solution design, and support the timely delivery of quality software.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Participate in solution design and ensure alignment with business needs.
Support the development team in delivering high-quality software solutions.
Produce clear and concise business and process requirements and functional specifications.
Develop and execute test cases to validate business requirements and ensure software quality.
Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve defects.
Participate in the QA process to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Ensure adherence to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), preferably in an Agile or Iterative environment.
Conduct data analysis and provide insights using Excel and PowerBI.

Qualifications

College or University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certification in CCBA/CBAP® (Certified Business Analyst Professional) is considered an asset.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
Proficiency with project management software such as Atlassian and Microsoft products.
Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), preferably in an Agile or Iterative environment.
Excellent verbal communication skills to engage various stakeholder groups.
Exceptional written communication and documentation skills with the ability to produce clear and concise business and process requirements and functional specifications.
Experience in developing and executing test cases.
Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
Proficient in data analysis with strong capabilities in Excel and PowerBI.
Knowledge and experience in the Oil and Gas industry is considered an asset.
