Collaborate with the health‑and‑safety team to identify and resolve testing issues. 6. Job title: Security Operations Center Manager Role Summary: Lead and scale a multi‑domain SOC, overseeing incident detection, triage, response, and continuous improvement of security monitoring across network, endpoint, cloud, and application environments. Expectations: • 5+ years of hands‑on security operations leadership, including building and scaling SOC teams and processes. • Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and liaise with senior management in a large enterprise. • Strong analytical, communication, and decision‑making skills under high pressure. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage active monitoring (IDS/IPS, firewalls, host security tools, log analytics). • Operate and fine‑tune SIEM platform; develop and refine detection rules and alert correlation. • Triage and investigate security alerts; produce detailed incident reports. • Coordinate containment, mitigation, and forensic‑analysis activities for critical incidents. • Collaborate with threat intelligence and hunting teams to enhance threat detection and response. • Conduct security standards testing and compliance checks prior to system deployment. • Develop and deliver training on intrusion detection, incident response, and log analysis. • Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery testing, documenting and addressing gaps.
