Your Opportunity:

Description:

We are seeking two students to fit this role. Reporting directly to the Manager of Workplace Health & Safety, this position is responsible for Qualitative and Quantitative respiratory fit testing for workers at various locations in the Edmonton. The incumbents also will perform data entry for completed respiratory fit tests and may be required to assist with other training initiatives. Training will be provided in Respiratory Fit Testing Protocol and any other initiatives the successful candidates would be involved in.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of Grade 12. Currently enrolled in Post-secondary program (Occupational Health & Safety, Biological Sciences would be an asset). The successful candidate must have a positive attitude, demonstrate professional image, exceptional customer service ability, be a strong team player, and be flexible with ability to adapt to change. Proficiency in various computer applications including word processing, data entry, email, and Internet access are required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal skills. Fast and accurate data entry skills required. Ability to perform effectively in a team environment. Strong knowledge of computer systems and applications, specifically Microsoft Office, database management. Ability to work quickly and independently. Analytical skills. Adaptability. Excellent customer service. An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment references.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent communication and organizational skills are desirable.
