**Job Title** Cyber Security Coordinator **Role Summary** A focused security professional responsible for safeguarding IT and operational technology environments, monitoring threat activity, and managing incident response and vulnerability remediation. Works across a manufacturing setting, collaborating with network and system teams to enforce policies and secure critical infrastructure. **Expactations** - Maintain continuous monitoring of all networked and OT systems for anomalous activity. - Lead investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents. - Develop, test, and refine incident response and disaster recovery plans. - Produce and present regular security status reports to stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, industry standards, and audit requirements. **Key Responsibilities** - Monitor security events via SIEM and EDR platforms; conduct threat analysis. - Assess and update firewall rules, network segmentation, and segmentation strategies. - Perform vulnerability scanning, coordinate with auditors, and support remediation tracking. - Execute system administration tasks (patching, access management, log management). - Create and maintain documentation for policies, procedures, and audit trails. - Support Incident Response drills and validate recovery plans against operational objectives. **Required Skills** - 3+ years of cyber security or network/system administration experience. - Proficiency with EDR, SIEM technologies, and vulnerability scanners. - Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and segmentation. - Familiarity with industrial control system security (SCADA, PLC, HMI). - Ability to analyze logs, identify threats, and recommend mitigations. - Effective communication skills for cross‑functional coordination. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience. - Security certifications (Security+, CySA+, CISSP, or related) preferred.
