**Job title:** Senior Security Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise security solutions for a manufacturing environment, ensuring resilient protection of network, systems, and data across on‑premise and cloud platforms while maintaining regulatory compliance. **Expectations:** - Deliver secure, compliant infrastructure in a fast‑moving manufacturing context. - Proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities, keeping systems hardened and audit‑ready. - Respond efficiently to security incidents and drive continuous improvement of processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer and maintain Cisco firewalls, Microsoft AD/365, Symantec Web Security, Carbonite Backup/Recovery, and VMware environments. - Support Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Exchange, Teams) and enterprise applications (e.g., EPICOR CMS). - Manage identity and access systems, perform scheduled vulnerability assessments, and implement hardening and disaster‑recovery protocols. - Maintain comprehensive security documentation and ensure adherence to PCI, FedRAMP, and related cybersecurity standards. - Conduct incident management, forensics, and post‑incident reviews. - Automate routine security tasks using Python and Bash scripts. - Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align security controls with business objectives. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years of cybersecurity and disaster‑recovery experience, preferably in manufacturing. - System administration across Windows, Linux (Ubuntu, openSUSE), macOS, and UNIX. - Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP. - Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, PaaS, and IaaS deployments. - Proficiency in encryption, PKI, SELinux, and security frameworks (RMF, COBIT, FISMA). - Scripting expertise in Python and Bash for automation and tooling. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field. - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+, CCNA/CCNP Security) are strongly preferred.
