We are seeking a detail-oriented Cyber Security Specialist for a Leading Manufacturer in the Wabash, IN area. The Cyber Security Specialist will help protect our IT and Operational Technology environments from cyber threats. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in network and system security who thrives in a collaborative environment.

1st Shift

Direct Hire with full benefits

Target Salary: $50-$55k

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in cyber security or network/system administration.
Familiarity with IT networks and industrial control systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMIs).
Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, segmentation strategies.
Experience with EDR solutions, SIEM platforms, and vulnerability scanners.
Security certifications (Security+, CySA+, CISSP, etc.) are a plus.

Responsibilities:

Monitor systems for suspicious activity and investigate potential threats.
Assist in implementing and testing Incident Response & Recovery plans.
Maintain cyber security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
Coordinate audits and vulnerability assessments; support remediation efforts.
Perform system administration tasks and generate regular security reports.
