**Job Title** Founding Engineer **Role Summary** Design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure of an AI‑driven agent platform that powers enterprise automation for Fortune 1000 IT teams. Work closely with the founder, design partners, and real users to create scalable, reliable services that integrate LLMs, reasoning systems, and backend infrastructure. **Expectations** - Deliver clean, testable code in Python and/or TypeScript. - Own critical platform components from backend to prompt engineering and UI tooling. - Turn ambiguous business workflows into structured, automatable systems. - Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset with startup or founder experience. **Key Responsibilities** - Architect and implement the backend architecture (DTOs, APIs, micro‑services). - Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and orchestrate agentic workflows. - Design and maintain vector databases and semantic search pipelines. - Develop and refine prompt‑engineering strategies for AI components. - Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests; enforce code quality standards. - Collaborate with product, design, and customer teams to iterate on feature requirements. - Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize production systems for performance and reliability. **Required Skills** - Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript. - Experience building or contributing to AI/agentic systems or LLM‑powered products. - Familiarity with Langchain, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.), and semantic search. - Understanding of agent orchestration frameworks and prompt engineering. - Ability to design scalable, maintainable backend services. - Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure. - Excellent debugging, testing, and documentation skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, *or* equivalent professional experience. - Certifications in cloud or AI technologies are a plus but not mandatory.
