**Job Title**
AWS DevOps Lead
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, deployment, and scaling of containerized applications on Amazon ECS/Fargate, orchestrate CI/CD pipelines, codify infrastructure with CloudFormation, and maintain observability and security across AWS services. Operate on-site at client facility, driving hands‑on delivery and continuous improvement.
**Expectations**
- 6–9 years of hands‑on AWS DevOps experience.
- Willingness to work full‑time onsite (5 days a week) and attend face‑to‑face client meetings, potentially multiple rounds in a day.
- Strong collaborative mindset and the ability to translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Own and scale AWS ECS/Fargate based delivery platform.
- Build, test, and deploy container images (Docker multi‑stage builds, buildx, caching).
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git + Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or CodePipeline, integrating JFrog Artifactory (Xray).
- Provision and manage AWS resources (ECR, VPC, ALB/NLB, IAM, KMS, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Systems Manager, Lambda, RDS, ElastiCache, MQ).
- Develop and maintain CloudFormation templates (stacks, nested stacks, StackSets, change sets, drift detection).
- Implement observability: CloudWatch Logs Insights (KQL style), OpenSearch/Kibana dashboards, and alerting.
- Write and maintain pipeline scripts in Java or Python.
- Deploy configuration and release changes across non‑prod and prod environments.
- Build and maintain development and infrastructure tooling.
- Convey and implement security hardening for container runtime and pipelines.
**Required Skills**
- Deep experience with AWS services: ECS, Fargate, ECR, VPC, ALB/NLB, IAM, KMS, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Systems Manager, Lambda, RDS, ElastiCache, MQ.
- Expertise in Docker (multi‑stage, buildx, caching, networking, runtime hardening).
- Proficient in CI/CD tooling (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions/CodePipeline) and artifact management (JFrog Artifactory, Xray).
- Strong CloudFormation skills – stacks, nested stacks, StackSets, change sets, drift.
- Log analytics: CloudWatch Logs Insights, OpenSearch/Kibana, alerting setup.
- Programming in Java or Python for pipeline automation.
- Experience with IaC, CI/CD best practices, and security hardening.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- AWS certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional).
