Job Description
**Job Title:** Business Analyst 2 **Role Summary:** Support large‑scale technology migration from legacy to modern systems, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption. Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to elicit requirements, model processes, map data, and validate solutions. **Expectations:** - Over 7 years of business analysis and testing in web applications. - Strong data analysis (SQL) and UI mockup creation for at least 5 years. - Proven traceability matrix, test case/script, and batch job/web service testing experience for 5+ years. - Agile methodology experience preferred. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collect, analyze, and document business/technical requirements; produce functional specs, user stories, and RTMs. - Translate business rules into technical documentation for development teams. - Perform SQL‑based data mapping, define transformation logic, and ensure data accuracy throughout migration. - Document as‑is and to‑be processes; conduct gap analysis and recommend improvements and cleansing strategies. - Design and execute test cases/scripts for web apps, batch jobs, and web services; lead UAT and validate data/functionality. - Facilitate workshops, communicate progress, risks, and mitigation, and manage stakeholder expectations. - Produce user manuals, functional docs, and training materials to support end‑user adoption. **Required Skills:** - Requirements elicitation & documentation - SQL data analysis and mapping - Process modeling & gap analysis - Test case/script development and execution - UAT coordination and data validation - Agile Scrum knowledge - Excellent communication and facilitation **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (≥5 years of relevant experience or equivalent). - No mandatory certifications, but familiarity with BABOK, Agile, or relevant analytical frameworks is advantageous.
