Job Specifications

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale technology migration initiative. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to transition from legacy systems to modern solutions while ensuring data integrity, operational continuity, and minimal business disruption.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, system testing, and business process modeling, with a proven ability to translate business needs into detailed technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Elicitation & Documentation

Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for system migration initiatives.
Develop detailed functional specifications, user stories, and requirement traceability matrices (RTM).
Translate business rules into technical documentation for development teams.

Data Mapping & Analysis

Perform data analysis using SQL to identify and validate data fields for migration.
Map source data to target systems and define transformation logic.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout migration.

Process Modeling & Gap Analysis

Document current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) business processes.
Conduct gap analysis between legacy systems and new platforms.
Recommend process improvements and data cleansing strategies.

Validation & Testing

Develop test cases and test scripts for web-based applications, batch jobs, and web services.
Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Validate migrated data and functionality to ensure successful implementation.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business and technical teams.
Communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the migration lifecycle.

Documentation & Training

Develop user manuals, functional documentation, and training materials.
Support end-user adoption of new systems.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in requirements gathering and testing of web-based applications.
5+ years of experience performing data analysis using SQL.
5+ years of experience creating UI mockups.
5+ years of experience developing requirement traceability matrices.
5+ years of experience writing test cases and test scripts.
5+ years of experience testing batch jobs and web services.
Experience working in Agile environments (preferred).
