DevOps Consultant
**Role Summary**
Implement, maintain, and optimize cloud‑native infrastructure and delivery pipelines for enterprise applications on AWS. Design IaC with Terraform, build and automate CI/CD workflows in Jenkins, secure deployments, and integrate AI/AGI tools to enhance developer productivity and operational insights.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 5 years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure Automation.
- Advanced expertise in AWS services (ECS, EKS, Lambda, VPC, S3, SNS, SQS, IAM, CloudWatch).
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code; experience in reusable pattern design.
- Strong CI/CD pipeline development, preferably Jenkins.
- Deep knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Competent in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go).
- Familiarity with security guardrails, DevSecOps practices, and agentic AI integration in DevOps.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Create, maintain, and optimize Jenkins pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Implement container orchestration on EKS, manage Docker images, and automate rollouts.
- Enforce security best practices: IAM roles, network segmentation, encryption, and audit logs.
- Integrate AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, agentic AI frameworks) to support source‑code intelligence, automated code reviews, and metrics tracking.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks and document procedural knowledge for cross‑team adoption.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline end‑to‑end delivery.

**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (or higher) strongly preferred; additional certifications (Terraform Associate, Jenkins Engineer) a plus.
