Job Description

**Job Title:** Lead Java Developer (Java & React.js) **Role Summary:** Seasoned software engineering leader responsible for architecting, designing, and delivering enterprise‑grade applications using Java (8+) and React.js. Provides technical direction to both offshore and onshore teams, ensures high‑quality code, and drives best practices in a hybrid Agile environment. **Expactations:** - Minimum 10 + years of professional software development experience. - Proven track record leading cross‑functional development teams. - Ability to work collaboratively with product owners, architects, QA, and stakeholders. - Strong problem‑solving skills and ownership of production issue resolution. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead design, development, and implementation of Java‑based microservices and React.js front‑end components. - Architect and build RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security. - Guide and mentor junior developers; conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards. - Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams to ensure consistent delivery and technical alignment. - Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and demos. - Optimize application performance, security, and scalability; troubleshoot production issues. **Required Skills:** - Java 8 or higher; strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security. - Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures. - Proficient in building responsive UI with React.js and related front‑end tooling. - Deep knowledge of REST API design and implementation. - Hands‑on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. - Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience). - Preferred: Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE; or other recognized Java/React certifications.
