**Job Title**
Audio Visual Technician
**Role Summary**
Operate, maintain, and upgrade video conferencing and live event equipment, ensuring reliable service across enterprise platforms. Provide technical support, event production planning, and root‑cause analysis for audio‑visual solutions, including video infrastructure and live event setups.
**Expactations**
- Deliver high‑availability video conferencing services aligned with SLAs.
- Produce event‑ready production packets and run‑of‑show documents.
- Resolve incidents, perform audits, and maintain equipment inventories.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate and maintain Cisco CUCM, Cisco TMS, Expressways, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Poly Endpoints, Zoom Rooms, and related hardware.
- Use ServiceNow for incident tracking, service tickets, and change requests.
- Plan, schedule, set up, and tear down internal/external video conferences.
- Troubleshoot video, audio, and networking issues, including hardware RMAs and software errors.
- Produce configuration drawings, test plans, and logistics packets for events.
- Conduct equipment audits and enforce defined processes.
- Collaborate with 3rd‑party vendors and cross‑functional teams for root‑cause analysis.
- Operate audio‑visual gear for live events: cameras, microphones, projectors, touchscreens, lighting boards, mixers, switchers, and digital cameras.
- Create run‑of‑show documents, attendance reports, and IT equipment readiness checklists.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS).
- Advanced troubleshooting of video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, WebEx) and hardware.
- Familiarity with media encoders (Wirecast, OBS).
- Experience with eCDN and enterprise video collaboration services.
- Strong time‑management, prioritization, and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with end users, IT teams, and executives.
- Self‑starter capable of independent work and teamwork.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field **or** equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5–7 years of related audio‑visual or video‑conferencing experience.
- Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent are preferred.
