Job title: Commercial – Industrial Energy Transition (M/F) Role Summary: Drive the identification, prospecting and closure of photovoltaic projects for industrial and public sector clients across Auvergne Rhône-Alpes. Operate autonomously, building and leveraging a network of local stakeholders while translating technical site assessments into viable business offers. Expactations: Successful candidates will independently manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract signing, and will demonstrate a strong commercial mindset, negotiation skill, and deep understanding of building, construction and renewable energy sectors. Key Responsibilities: - Prospect and develop a pipeline of industrial and public sector prospects, using active outreach and network expansion. - Follow up incoming leads, turning contacts into concrete projects. - Conduct on‑ground site scouting with municipalities, cooperatives and landowners for rooftop, self‑consumption, and canopy projects. - Promote projects to local authorities, associations, and professional networks. - Represent the company at trade shows, forums, and regional events. - Build and manage a prescriber and partner network (architects, engineering offices, project managers, farmers, manufacturers). - Monitor market trends, identify opportunities, and stay informed of local regulatory changes. - Perform prefeasibility studies: technical, regulatory, environmental analysis and consult with state, local and network operators. - Draft initial business plans in collaboration with the engineering office. - Secure land or building rights through lease agreements, purchase options or other legal instruments. - Negotiate land acquisition, tailor messaging to client needs while adhering to commercial strategy. - Coordinate with internal teams (urban planning, engineering, legal) to cancel hurdles and supply required documentation for project launch. - Maintain regular communication with prospects, address financial, technical and administrative objections, and close sales.
