Job Title: Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Role Summary: Design, build, and secure scalable Azure cloud environments for large‑scale, highly available systems. Lead automation, cost optimization, and monitoring to ensure reliable, compliant, and cost‑efficient operations.
Expactations: 10+ years of industry experience managing complex cloud infrastructures, proven leadership in cloud engineering practices, and strong proficiency in Azure (and AWS) services and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and provision Azure resources (VMs, Logic Apps, networking, security).
- Automate infrastructure with IaC (Terraform), scripting (PowerShell, Python), and Ansible workflows.
- Implement identity, access, and data protection following Zero Trust and regulatory requirements (PII, PHI).
- Monitor, alert, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and reliability issues using Azure Monitor and related tools.
- Optimize resource usage and cost through continuous assessment and right‑size initiatives.
- Develop and enforce DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins), code reviews, version control, and security scanning.
- Manage containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes) and related registries/APIs.
Required Skills:
- Azure core services: VNETs, subnets, NSGs, route tables, ACLs, DNS, storage, domain management.
- Cloud deployment, management, and disaster recovery (ASR).
- Security: Cloud Infrastructure Security, IAM, Zero Trust, data encryption.
- DevOps/SRE: CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, Bash/PowerShell, Python.
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, container registries, REST APIs.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Active Azure or AWS Developer/Administrator certification (preferred).
- Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
