**Job Title:** ServiceNow Developer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, integrations, and workflows within enterprise environments. Own end‑to‑end lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment, focusing on platform governance, security, and performance.
**Expectations:**
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development in corporate settings.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow data model.
- Demonstrated experience with integrations, migrations, and CMDB alignment.
- Strong problem‑solving, independent work, and clear communication with technical and non‑technical audiences.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build and customize applications using Flow Designer, Workflow, Service Catalog, and Service Portal/ UI Builder.
- Script using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Notifications.
- Design and implement secure REST/Webhook/IntegrationHub integrations with external systems.
- Lead or support platform migrations (e.g., ticketing/ITSM to ServiceNow), including data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and cut‑over.
- Integrate ServiceNow with CMDB and asset sources, applying event‑driven update patterns and managing interface contracts.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, SLAs, metrics, and analytics for operational visibility.
- Apply best practices for platform governance, upgrade strategies, and secure coding standards.
**Required Skills:**
- JavaScript, GlideRecord, GlideAjax, GlideForm, GlideSystem APIs.
- ServiceNow core technologies: Flow Designer, legacy Workflow, Service Catalog, Service Portal/UI Builder.
- Scripting and configuration: Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, Notifications.
- Integration patterns: REST APIs, Webhooks, IntegrationHub, MID Server.
- Migration experience: data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, cut‑over.
- CMDB/Asset data integration, event‑driven updates.
- Report/dashboard creation; SLA/metric configuration.
- Problem‑solving, independent work, stakeholder communication.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certifications (preferred): ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
