Job Specifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments.
Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide APIs, scripting best practices, and ServiceNow data models.
Demonstrated experience building, securing, and operating integrations with external systems (e.g., REST APIs, webhooks, IntegrationHub/MID Server patterns).
Experience leading or contributing to platform migrations, including migrating from other ticketing/ITSM systems into ServiceNow (data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and cutover support).
Experience integrating ServiceNow with CMDB/Asset data sources and downstream consumers, including event-driven update patterns and interface contract management.
Qualification:
Experience with ServiceNow best practices, platform governance, and upgrade strategies.
Strong hands-on development experience with core ServiceNow platform technologies, including Flow Designer, Workflow (legacy), Service Catalog (Catalog Items, Record Producers, Variable Sets/MRVS), and Service Portal / UI Builder.
Proficiency with ServiceNow scripting and configuration elements such as Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Notifications.
Experience building and maintaining reports/dashboards and operational visibility (including SLA configuration, metrics, and analytics).
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
