Job Title: Intermediate IT Specialist – Azure, Infrastructure and Security
Role Summary:
Deliver operational support for cloud, infrastructure, and security services in a Microsoft‑centric environment. Coordinate identity, endpoint, network, and compliance tasks while driving continuous improvement through structured IT service management processes.
Expactations:
* Provide day‑to‑day operational excellence for Azure and Microsoft 365 workloads
* Participate in incident, change, and problem management activities
* Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
* Uphold security‑by‑design and Zero Trust principles
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain Microsoft Azure services (compute, networking, storage) and hybrid connectivity with on‑prem infrastructure
* Monitor system health, performance, and availability; create and update runbooks
* Administer Microsoft Entra ID – user lifecycle, MFA, Conditional Access
* Manage Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) – licensing, service health, tenant administration
* Implement and operate security controls: Microsoft Defender (endpoint, identity, cloud), Rapid7 SIEM, Carbon Black, Palo Cortex, Prisma, Varonis, etc.
* Triage alerts, investigate incidents, and maintain audit logs
* Manage endpoints via Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot; enforce device compliance and application deployment
* Contribute to root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
* Follow ITILv4 practices for incident, change, and problem management
Required Skills:
* 2–5 years of enterprise IT or cloud operations experience
* Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune
* Solid understanding of identity & access management, endpoint security, and network fundamentals
* Familiarity with Zero Trust security model and security‑by‑design
* Proficiency in troubleshooting, monitoring, and root‑cause analysis
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
* Ability to work collaboratively across infrastructure, security, and endpoint teams
Required Education & Certifications:
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104)
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ‑500)
* CompTIA Security+
* ITILv4 Foundation
