Job Title: IAM Engineer – IBM Verify Access (ISAM / SSO / Federation)
Role Summary
Design, implement, and manage IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) and Verify Access solutions, focusing on SSO, federation, and advanced access control. Provide expertise in policy management, integration with LDAP, reverse proxy, and multi‑factor authentication.

- Deliver secure, scalable IAM solutions in line with enterprise security policies.
- Maintain high availability and performance of ISAM components.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to integrate IAM into application pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Configure and administer IBM Verify Access and ISAM, including base, advanced access control, and federation modules.
2. Create and manage junctions, ACLs, POPs, and group imports on the Policy Server.
3. Design SSO integrations using SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and other authentication mechanisms.
4. Implement reverse proxy, authorization server, and LDAP integration.
5. Configure and enforce multi‑factor authentication (MFA) policies.
6. Automate deployment and configuration using Ansible or equivalent DevOps tools.
7. Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize IAM services for performance and reliability.
8. Produce documentation, configuration baselines, and best‑practice guides.
Required Skills
- Hands‑on IBM Verify Access implementation.
- ISAM engineering with development experience.
- Deep knowledge of ISAM base, Advanced Access Control, Federation modules.
- Experience creating junctions, ACLs, POPs, and group import processes.
- Understanding of reverse proxy, authorization server, policy server, and LDAP concepts.
- SSO configuration using IBM Security Access Manager.
- Proficiency in SAML 2.0, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, and related authentication protocols.
- Familiarity with Ansible automation and DevOps practices.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Industry‑recognized IAM certifications (e.g., IBM Security Engineer, CISSP, or equivalent) preferred.
