Responsible for maintaining and securing Linux-based infrastructure by applying vulnerability fixes, patches, and updates. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with security standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform Linux OS patching and apply security updates across servers and endpoints.Monitor vulnerability reports and prioritize remediation based on severity.Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to organizational standards.Troubleshoot patch deployment issues and provide root cause analysis.Maintain documentation for patch cycles, exceptions, and compliance reports.Work with patch management tools (e.g., Ansible, Satellite, Spacewalk, or similar) for deployment.Ensure minimal downtime during patching through proper scheduling and communication.Participate in incident response for security-related issues.Automate patching processes using shell scripting or Ansible playbooks. Experience: 6-8 Years
