Job Description
Job Title: Sr. ServiceNow Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and optimize ServiceNow solutions to enhance IT Service Management (ITSM) and Operations Management (ITOM) workflows, integrating with existing systems, and mentoring junior developers. Expactations: • Deliver high‑quality ServiceNow customizations and integrations within Agile/Scrum sprints. • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions. • Maintain documentation, conduct code reviews, and uphold coding and security standards. • Stay current with platform releases and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and automation. - Configure and customize ServiceNow features (ITSM, CSM/PSDS, HAM). - Perform Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management setups. - Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues. - Develop and maintain technical documentation (system designs, process flows, user guides). - Mentor junior developers and support team technical growth. - Conduct code reviews and participate in design discussions. - Ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and governance. - Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to refine requirements. Required Skills: - 5+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development and administration. - Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow APIs, JavaScript, HTML/CSS. - Deep understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes, workflow automation, and best practices. - Experience with Agile/Scrum development. - Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and cross‑functional communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (required). - ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (preferred). - Certifications in advanced integrations and ITOM (highly desired).
