Job Specifications

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions on the ServiceNow platform to enhance IT service management and operational workflows. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will translate business requirements into innovative technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Your expertise will drive efficiency and innovation in the organization’s use of ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including platform customizations and integrations.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.
Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and automation.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the ServiceNow platform.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, process flows, and user guides.
Mentor junior developers and support overall team technical growth.
Stay current with ServiceNow platform features, releases, and industry best practices.
Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, governance processes, and ServiceNow best practices.
Conduct code reviews and actively participate in design discussions and solution planning.
Perform Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations to enhance IT operations and visibility.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
Proficiency in:
ServiceNow APIs
JavaScript
HTML / CSS
Strong understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes, workflow automation, and best practices.
Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow modules such as:
ITSM (IT Service Management)
CSM / PSDS (Customer Service Management)
HAM (Hardware Asset Management)
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Preferred / Highly Desired

ServiceNow certifications such as:
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
ServiceNow Implementation Specialist
Experience with complex integrations and advanced ITOM capabilities.
