**Job Title:** Information Technology Support Specialist
**Role Summary:** Provides technical support for end users and IT systems, ensuring operational efficiency in a highly regulated environment.
**Expectations:** Minimum 2 years of IT support experience. High school diploma or Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and multitasking abilities essential.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for PCs, servers, and end-user devices.
- Support MS Outlook, Office 365, Virtual Desktop, VPN, Active Directory, MDT imaging, Cisco hardware, and cloud-based tools.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows systems, including OS deployment, driver/firmware management, and desktop security.
- Deploy and support mobile devices, warehouse equipment, printers, RF units, and terminals.
- Apply networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, proxies) during problem resolution.
- Collaborate across teams and time zones to deliver technical guidance and facilitate cross-cultural communication.
- Manage vendor coordination, technical documentation, inventory tracking, and electronic waste.
- Conduct end-user training and identify process improvements.
- Monitor IT infrastructure (backups, UPS, servers/network devices) for reliability.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in Windows, Office 365, Citrix, Azure AD, and cloud-based tools.
- Experience with SysAid/ServiceNow and incident/problem/change management.
- Fundamental networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
- Strong problem-solving, verbal/written communication, and collaboration in diverse settings.
**Required Education & Certifications:** High school diploma or Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. ITIL certification preferred but not mandatory.
