Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer
Role Summary: Lead architect and operations specialist for enterprise Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient services while maintaining VMware vSphere and hybrid cloud integrations. Collaborate cross‑functionally to implement cloud‑native solutions, governance, and automation.
Expactations:
- 8–10 years IT infrastructure and cloud engineering experience.
- Deep hands‑on expertise in Microsoft Azure (AD / Entra ID, VPN, Front Door, Traffic Manager) and Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Proven knowledge of Azure networking, monitoring, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong identity‑management background (Azure AD, SSO, conditional access, SAML, OAuth, Auth0).
- Proficiency in VMware vSphere administration.
- Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates.
- Familiarity with Zero‑Trust architecture, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.
- Ability to mentor junior staff, document processes, and manage Level‑3 incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure environments (Entra ID, VPN, Front Door, Traffic Manager).
- Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Support Azure networking, monitoring, and application hosting.
- Maintain VMware vSphere virtual server environments.
- Implement identity solutions (SAML, OAuth, Auth0) and enforce conditional access.
- Apply cloud governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level‑3 incidents, optimizing system performance.
- Collaborate with development, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams on cloud‑native applications and DevOps pipelines.
- Document procedures and mentor junior team members.
Required Skills:
- Microsoft Azure architecture and administration.
- Microsoft 365 administration.
- Azure networking, monitoring (Azure Monitor), and traffic management.
- Identity management (Azure AD, SSO, conditional access, SAML, OAuth).
- VMware vSphere administration.

Required Education & Certifications:
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ‑305) or Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104); SC‑300 Microsoft Identity; VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
