Job Description
**Job Title** Marketing Specialist – TOLC (20‑Month Contract) **Role Summary** Supports planning, execution, and management of marketing initiatives—including trade shows, the Annual General Sales Meeting, collateral creation, brand development, and communications—while ensuring brand integrity and assisting with the incubation of emerging brands for the independent retail channel. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality events and trade shows on time and within budget. - Maintain consistent brand presentation across all materials and channels. - Provide timely marketing support to the Director of Marketing and cross‑functional teams. - Facilitate onboarding and go‑to‑market activities for new brands. **Key Responsibilities** - Plan, organize, and execute trade shows and corporate events; manage budgets, vendor contracts, timelines, and on‑site logistics. - Lead creation and upkeep of marketing collateral (brochures, corporate overviews, merchandise) and internal branding guidelines. - Update website content and non‑technical site elements. - Produce and distribute internal/external newsletters; manage social‑media posting and basic PR (press releases, ad placements). - Assist in development of product catalogs and other marketing assets. - Support brand incubation: engage suppliers, assist onboarding, contribute to P&L, positioning, and go‑to‑market strategy for early‑stage brands. - Coordinate and organize brand and sales samples. - Provide project management and ongoing marketing support for incubated brands during their first year. **Required Skills** - Strong project‑management and multitasking abilities. - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and basic photo editing. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Budget management and vendor coordination experience. - Detail‑oriented, analytical, and problem‑solving mindset. - Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. - Basic physical ability to lift 10–15 lb boxes. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. - No specific certifications required; relevant experience (3+ years in marketing or events coordination) fulfills the qualification criteria.
