Job title: Communications Manager – Symphony Programme
Role Summary: Lead the development and execution of the Symphony programme communication strategy, ensuring clear, consistent, and engaging messaging across a global, cross‑functional organization. Facilitate adoption, engagement, and executive alignment through targeted content, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement.
Expactations: Deliver a fully integrated communications plan that drives awareness, understanding, and confidence in Symphony’s objectives. Achieve high engagement across digital, print, live, and collaboration channels. Equip senior leaders with concise, persuasive messaging to champion change. Translate complex data transformation concepts into simplified stories for executives, managers, and front‑line teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and own the global communications strategy for Symphony, aligned with change and adoption goals.
- Develop and execute integrated campaigns that explain Symphony’s purpose, progress, and benefits to all stakeholder levels.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all Symphony workstreams, business functions, and markets.
- Tailor content and channels for executives, managers, and employees to maximize impact.
- Manage internal communication platforms (intranet, newsletters, collaboration tools, and live events) to disseminate updates and drive engagement.
- Prepare executive briefs, speeches, talking points, and visual stories for Symphony sponsors.
- Collaborate with Change & Training teams to integrate communications with readiness and capability building.
- Create toolkits and assets for local market and functional teams, maintaining global coherence.
- Monitor communication effectiveness via feedback, engagement metrics, and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Champion storytelling to foster excitement, buy‑in, and ownership across the organization.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years in corporate communications, change communications, or employee engagement within global enterprises.
- Proven track record of delivering communication strategies that support business transformation.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities; simplifies complex messages for diverse audiences.
- Experience across digital, social, live, and print internal communication channels.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influence skills, including executive communication preparation.
- Ability to navigate complex, matrixed, and challenging environments.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Professional communications certification (e.g., CIPR, IABC) preferred.
- Experience in digital, data, or transformation communications (ERP, analytics, operating model changes) valued.
- Familiarity with Agile programme environments and product‑oriented communications is preferred.
