Job Description
**Job title** Human Resources Advisor **Role Summary** Provide end‑to‑end HR support within a national children’s charity, covering recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR policy compliance, and learning & development. **Expectations** - Deliver full‑cycle recruitment and onboarding. - Coach managers on employee relations, disciplinary and grievance procedures. - Ensure all HR practices adhere to UK employment law and organisational policies. - Promote continuous professional development via the company LMS. **Key Responsibilities** - Advertise vacancies, screen CVs, shortlist candidates and coordinate interviews. - Partner with hiring managers on recruitment planning, candidate engagement and new‑hire induction. - Manage employee relations: conduct disciplinary/ grievance investigations; address absenteeism. - Advise on and enforce HR policies, procedures and statutory compliance. - Oversee the Learning Management System, encouraging CPD and identifying training needs. - Coordinate learning initiatives that support organisational goals. **Required Skills** - Proven recruitment experience and L&D knowledge. - Strong understanding of UK employment legislation, compliance and due‑diligence. - Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management and problem‑solving skills. - Ability to interpret and apply HR policy to diverse situations. - Experience administering an LMS or delivering structured CPD programmes. **Required Education & Certifications** - CIPD Level 5 (or higher) qualification highly desirable; alternatively recognised HR accreditation. - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
