- Deliver high‑performance, low‑latency C++ components that interface directly with radar hardware.
- Validate and analyze algorithm performance using simulated and live data.
- Mentor junior engineers and share expertise on radar DSP and embedded systems.
- Ensure documentation meets internal standards and government stakeholder requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, code, and test real‑time embedded software for high‑throughput radar and DSP pipelines.
- Optimize C++ modules for direct hardware interaction (PCIe, Ethernet, SerDes, DMA).
- Collaborate with radar, firmware, and software teams to define end‑to‑end architecture and data flow.
- Perform algorithm validation, system‑level performance analysis, and regression testing.
- Develop automated test frameworks to verify correctness, latency, and throughput.
- Document design choices, interfaces, assumptions, and performance characteristics.
- Participate in RF, sensor fusion, and FPGA/SoC design discussions.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong real‑time C++ development in embedded environments.
- Deep knowledge of digital signal processing, detection, tracking, filtering, and estimation.
- Experience with high‑speed device interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, SerDes, DMA).
- Proficiency in real‑time operating systems, multithreading, and low‑latency system design.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or similar tools for simulation and algorithm validation.
- Experience with radar, RF systems, sensor fusion, and hardware/software co‑design.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
