Salesforce Administrator
Role Summary
Responsible for administering, securing, and optimizing multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, and Data Cloud) for a non‑profit organization. Focuses on identity and access management, data quality, and system integration.
Expectations
- Manage day‑to‑day administration of all Salesforce applications.
- Implement and maintain security best practices via Salesforce Security Center, Event Monitoring, and Okta integration.
- Ensure accurate, clean data and proper user access controls.
- Provide troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and documentation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce Security Center, Event Monitoring, and related security tools.
- Integrate Salesforce with Okta for single sign‑on, provisioning, and de‑provisioning.
- Build and customize objects, workflows, reports, dashboards, and integration points with external platforms.
- Conduct data quality audits, deduplication, and security reviews.
- Manage user profiles, roles, licenses, and permission sets.
- Conduct system testing, deploy releases, and maintain run‑books and documentation.
- Resolve end‑user issues via Jira, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of Salesforce administration experience.
- Proficiency across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Data Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce Security Center, Event Monitoring, and Okta integration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
- Knowledge of governance, testing, deployment, and documentation processes.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Advanced certifications in Security (e.g., Salesforce Security Specialist) and Integration (e.g., Salesforce Platform App Builder or CSI) are preferred.
