**Job Title:** ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant
**Role Summary:**
Deliver advanced technical consulting on the ServiceNow platform for a U.S. federal government environment. Design, develop, integrate, and maintain solutions while enforcing platform standards and ensuring compliance with federal security requirements.
**Expectations:**
- 12+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- U.S. citizenship required (federal government contract).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified System Developer (CSD).
- Deep knowledge of Shopping Hub and Source to Pay modules.
- Proven ability to produce clean, maintainable code and comprehensive technical documentation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and customize ServiceNow using client scripts, business rules, UI policies, workflows, Flow Designer, Integration Hub spokes, script includes, catalog items, portal widgets, UI pages, events, and alert rules.
- Enforce platform engineering and development standards across all solutions.
- Manage out‑of‑the‑box functionality, perform enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations with third‑party systems via REST, SOAP, and other APIs, including scripted REST APIs, REST messages, and data export sets.
- Configure notifications, scheduled jobs, UI pages, UI macros, script includes, formatters, Service Portal, Service Catalog, catalog items, record producers, order guides, and workspaces.
- Understand and configure MID Servers for integration and data collection.
- Create and maintain technical documentation—design specifications, test plans, user guides, and system architecture diagrams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and translate needs into scalable solutions.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with federal security and governance standards.
**Required Skills:**
- ServiceNow platform development (client scripts, business rules, UI policies, workflows, Flow Designer, Integration Hub).
- Integration expertise with REST, SOAP, and scripted APIs.
- Experience with Service Portal, Service Catalog, Order Guides, and Workspaces.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with MID Server configuration and management.
- Ability to enforce coding standards and platform best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified System Developer (CSD).
- Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., IntegrationHub, ITIL v4) are a plus.
