About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Cyber Security to support governance, risk, and compliance initiatives within a Financial Services environment. This role focuses on application security controls, SOX compliance, and internal and external audit support. The ideal candidate brings a strong audit mindset, hands-on control testing experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with IT, audit, and business partners.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Audit, Information Security, or a related field

• 5–6 years of experience in Information Security, IT Audit, or Technology Risk roles

• Strong knowledge of SOX methodology and application-level control implementations

• Experience supporting internal and external audits

• Proven ability to document, test, and maintain control evidence

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Obsidian Remediation

• Financial Services or other highly regulated industry experience

Key Responsibilities

• Drive governance and risk frameworks for applications, with a focus on authentication and authorization controls

• Identify, assess, and respond to security and compliance risks impacting business functions

• Support and manage internal and external audits, including SOX audits

• Design, execute, and evaluate application security controls

• Collect, maintain, and organize audit evidence and control testing documentation

• Support application attestations to security and compliance standards

• Partner closely with Information Security, Audit, and Technology teams to ensure compliance and remediation efforts
