**Job Title**
AI Product Manager, Merchant Experience
**Role Summary**
Own the end‑to‑end merchant funnel (landing pages, sign‑up, onboarding, deal launch, activation) with a focus on AI‑enabled and automation‑driven workflows. Drive rapid prototype‑to‑production cycles, run controlled experiments, and deliver measurable business outcomes (revenue, churn, margin) while coordinating with sales, design, engineering and data teams.
**Expectations**
- Deliver tangible financial impact through AI & automation products.
- Prototype, instrument, and iterate in short experiments; launch only when outcomes are quantifiable.
- Maintain end‑to‑end ownership of funnel metrics, event schemas, and analysis plans.
- Collaborate closely with sales & lead‑gen to optimize conversion and enable partner activation.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design, ship, and iterate full‑funnel UI/UX flows for merchants.
2. Prototype AI‑powered solutions, validate with pilots, and hand‑off to engineering for production.
3. Define event schemas, success metrics, and analysis plans; implement instrumentation (PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude).
4. Run A/B tests, cohort analyses, and controlled experiments; report outcomes in dollars and key KPIs.
5. Partner with inbound sales and lead‑gen teams to align the sales funnel, reduce drop‑off, and increase conversion.
6. Own product lifecycle from prototype through roll‑out, using feature flags and experimentation to de‑risk launches.
7. Communicate results and iterate based on quantitative evidence, prioritizing action over analysis paralysis.
**Required Skills**
- Product ownership for AI‑driven, automation‑heavy customer experiences.
- Rapid prototype creation (wireframes, AI prompt design, workflow pipelining).
- Design and run statistical experiments (A/B, multivariate, cohort).
- Data‑driven product analytics using web analytics and event‑based tools.
- Cross‑functional collaboration with design, engineering (ability to read code), data teams, and sales.
- Marketplace or e‑commerce platform experience.
- Strong business acumen: tie decisions to revenue, churn, margin.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize impactful initiatives.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- (Preferred) Product Management certification (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Scrum Product Owner, or equivalent).
- (Optional) Knowledge or coursework in AI/ML fundamentals.
