Job Description

Job title: AI/ML Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models into production environments that support national security missions, ensuring adherence to federal data governance, cybersecurity, and ethical standards. Expectations: Deliver production-ready ML solutions on schedule, maintain high model performance, collaborate with military and engineering teams, and provide expertise on emerging AI technologies; maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and interpret complex datasets using advanced data science methods. - Build, test, and tune machine learning models for operational use. - Deploy models to production, integrating with existing systems via CI/CD pipelines. - Translate technical findings into actionable insights for cross‑functional stakeholders. - Collaborate with software engineers, military leadership, and subject‑matter experts to align data initiatives with mission objectives. - Provide guidance on AI/ML best practices, data security, and ethical considerations. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages; experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit‑learn. - Expertise in data pipeline construction, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical content for varied audiences. - Knowledge of federal data governance, cybersecurity requirements, and AI ethics.
