Job Title: Director – Engineering & Technology
Role Summary: Lead the technology organization for a high‑growth healthcare SaaS company, driving architecture, product delivery, and team growth while partnering with executive leadership to execute a technology roadmap that supports AI, automation, and cloud‑native innovations.

- Deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance cloud solutions that align with business strategy.
- Build and mentor a high‑performing engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Quantify success through KPIs, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with executive leadership to define and execute the technology roadmap and translate business objectives into technical strategies.
- Oversee architecture, system design, implementation, and AI/ML integration across multiple projects, ensuring scalability, security, reliability, and performance.
- Ensure code quality, technical documentation, and adherence to best practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD) across engineering teams.
- Collaborate with Product Management to align technology deliverables with product goals, manage project progress, resource allocation, and cross‑functional dependencies.
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing engineering, architecture, and project leadership team, identifying skill gaps and creating development paths.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for technology delivery, reliability, and performance; optimize development workflows, tools, and processes for efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships and technology budgets as needed, ensuring cost‑effective technology solutions.
Required Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of modern software development practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD), cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure), and AI/ML pipelines.
- Proven hands‑on experience with .NET, SQL, and Azure for building and scaling cloud‑based applications.
- Strong background in leading AI, automation, or SaaS‑focused development teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities and make informed trade‑offs.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in software engineering and technology leadership, with demonstrated success in scaling technical teams in fast‑paced environments.
