Security Operations Manager
Role Summary
Lead and execute comprehensive security programs for global productions, live events, and talent-driven experiences, ensuring safety of personnel, protection of assets, and seamless event delivery.
Expectations
- Deliver proactive, customized security solutions across international venues.
- Serve as strategic advisor and operational leader during incidents.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess threats and develop tailored security plans for events and entertainment projects.
- Design, implement, and oversee security strategies for productions, talent engagements, and large‑scale live events.
- Conduct risk assessments and formulate mitigation tactics to safeguard people, content, and assets.
- Manage on‑site security operations, staffing, and logistics, ensuring discreet and effective protection.
- Provide immediate stabilization and leadership during security incidents.
- Coordinate with local, state, and federal law enforcement, emergency responders, and trusted security partners.
- Advise cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration and incorporating security requirements into event planning.
- Monitor industry best practices, emerging threats, and security technologies.
Required Skills
- Executive or close‑protection, intelligence, military, event security, or private‑sector security operations experience (≥5 years).
- Expertise in risk assessment, operational planning, and crisis management in complex or ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to perform under high pressure and adapt to changing environments.
- Proficient in coordinating security logistics, staffing, and vendor relationships.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Required Education & Certifications
- Undergraduate degree preferred in security, intelligence, emergency management, or related field.
- Business‑fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
- Certifications in personal/protection services, event security management, or related disciplines are advantageous.
