Job Description
Job Title: Regional Marketing Manager Role Summary: Lead the North Region marketing function, managing a distributed team, developing and executing strategic marketing and business development campaigns, ensuring proposal quality and compliance, and driving high‑impact pursuits. Expectations: - Direct and mentor a multi‑office marketing team. - Foster a high‑performance culture and career development. - Align marketing initiatives with corporate strategy and market needs. - Manage regional proposal oversight for large‑value engineering projects. Key Responsibilities: - Track opportunities, assign leads, and monitor marketing workload. - Conduct weekly workload discussions and reallocate resources. - Design marketing calendar and campaigns targeting new markets, clients, and capabilities. - Run and participate in client management meetings. - Lead career planning, annual reviews, and hiring activities for direct reports. - Assist in budget development, track spend, and report ROI. - Review regional proposals for policy adherence, best practices, and quality. - Manage must‑win pursuits (≥$100 M) and coordinate with practice leaders for pre‑positioning. - Coach proposal teams on strategy, style, and presentation skills. - Lead strategic marketing and BD campaigns with local and practice leaders. - Participate in event planning and debriefs. - Deliver professional development training via internal university. Required Skills: - Advanced verbal, written, and visual communication. - Strong interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills. - Proven ability to lead across multiple offices and external teams. - Experience managing complex construction or engineering pursuits. - Knowledge of proposal/marketing best practices and delivery models (Design‑Build, Progressive Design‑Build, CMGC). - Leadership and coaching capabilities. - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office; familiarity with Deltek/VantagePoint preferred. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. - 10+ years in progressively senior marketing or business development roles. - APMP, CPSM, or equivalent certification preferred.
