**Job title:** Senior Quality Engineer/SDET
**Role Summary:** Lead automated and manual testing for enterprise SharePoint environments, ensuring functional, accessibility, API, and mobile quality. Build and maintain Selenium-based test frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with development and operations teams to deliver secure, consistent SharePoint experiences.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver high‑quality test coverage for complex SharePoint sites and custom SPFx components within release cycles.
- Continuously improve test automation efficiency and reliability.
- Act as a quality advocate, driving standards and best practices across teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and maintain regression, smoke, functional, and integration automation suites using Selenium (Java/Python/C#).
- Validate SharePoint site navigation, document workflows, metadata, search, permissions, and REST APIs.
- Perform accessibility testing (WCAG) with AXE, WAVE, and manual checks; conduct mobile‑responsive testing on iOS/Android and major browsers.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and test management tools (Zephyr, ZAPI).
- Create and manage test data for lists, libraries, users, groups, and metadata structures.
- Collaborate with SharePoint Dev teams on environment setup, provisioning, permission models, and deployment changes.
- Execute exploratory, cross‑browser, and compatibility testing to uncover UI/UX, performance, and navigation issues.
- Log, track, and communicate defects in JIRA or ServiceNow; drive resolution with development teams.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years test automation development, 4+ years quality engineering experience.
- Proficient in object‑oriented programming and scripting (Java, Python, C#).
- Deep knowledge of Selenium, REST API testing, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Zephyr, ZAPI, JIRA/ServiceNow.
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and tools (AXE, WAVE).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications: ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer or equivalent preferred.
