**Job Title:** AI/ML Engineer
**Role Summary:** Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end AI/ML solutions, including generative models and traditional supervised/unsupervised pipelines. Translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready systems using cloud platforms, MLOps practices, and modern tooling.
**Expactations:**
- 3–8+ years of hands‑on AI/ML engineering or data science experience.
- Proven track record of deploying production‑grade AI/ML systems on AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud.
- Strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and mentorship.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, train, and evaluate supervised/unsupervised models (regression, classification, clustering, time‑series, boosting).
- Build neural networks (CNN, RNN, LSTM) and fine‑tune generative models (LLMs, LoRA/PEFT) for performance, latency, and cost.
- Implement prompt engineering, domain adaptation, and responsible AI practices.
- Develop scalable Python code, package with Docker, and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
- Manage model lifecycle: serialization (Pickle, Joblib, ONNX), deployment via FastAPI or serverless APIs, and secure scaling.
- Create internal AI applications using Streamlit, HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Leverage Databricks for accelerated development, AutoML, feature engineering pipelines, and reusable templates.
- Perform advanced data processing, visualization, and storytelling using scikit‑learn, PyTorch, pandas, polars, NumPy, seaborn.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists on quality, governance, and best practices.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in Python (JupyterLab, VSCode).
- Experience with ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn.
- MLOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, model registry.
- Cloud: AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS), Azure (ML, Functions).
- Deployment: FastAPI, serverless, RESTful API design.
- Data engineering: pandas, polars, NumPy, seaborn, data pipelines.
- Version control (Git), code quality tools.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.
- Certifications in cloud (AWS Certified Machine Learning, Azure AI Engineer Associate) or MLOps preferred but not mandatory.
