Role: Salesforce Developer

Location: Reston, VA (Onsite 1-2 days/month)

Type: Contract

Job Description:

We are looking for a mid-level Salesforce Developer to join our team and help design, build, and enhance Salesforce-based applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing new Salesforce applications, working with Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrating Salesforce with external systems such as Snowflake using REST APIs. This role requires strong communication skills and experience working in an Agile development environment.

Requirements:

2+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
Strong experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) - MUST HAVE
Strong experience with REST API integrations - MUST HAVE
Experience working in an Agile development environment - MUST HAVE
Excellent communication skills - MUST HAVE
Experience with Salesforce Copilot - Plus
Exposure to Agentforce - Strong plus
Experience building new Salesforce applications or products
Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, Apex, and SOQL

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, or similar) - Plus, not required
Experience integrating Salesforce with Snowflake or other data platforms
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Salesforce DevOps practices

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and enhance Salesforce applications and custom solutions
Build and deliver new products and features on the Salesforce platform
Develop and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Implement and consume REST APIs for integrations with external systems (e.g., Snowflake and other platforms)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Salesforce applications
Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices, security, and performance standards
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
