Job title: Salesforce Administrator
Role Summary:
Hands‑on administrator responsible for day‑to‑day configuration, data quality, and system enhancements across Sales Cloud in a fast‑paced SaaS environment. Works closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, RevOps, and Customer Success to support lead‑to‑opportunity processes, revenue metrics, and integrations.
Expectations:
- Maintain a secure, scalable Salesforce org with robust security, data governance, and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement of sales processes, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline hygiene.
- Own release management, documentation, and Tier‑2 support to enable end‑users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure objects, fields, layouts, record types, validation rules, and formulas.
- Build and optimize record‑triggered, screen, and scheduled Flows; approval and assignment rules.
- Manage profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing rules.
- Implement data quality controls (dedupe, validation, monitoring) and scheduled jobs.
- Develop and maintain sales, RevOps, and leadership reports and dashboards.
- Support Lead → Opportunity lifecycle, territory logic, account hierarchies, and opportunity metrics (ACV, ARR, forecast, booking).
- Partner with Sales Ops to refine forecasting, stage definitions, and pipeline hygiene.
- Oversee integrations (Dev → UAT → Production) and provide rollback plans.
- Maintain architecture docs, data dictionaries, runbooks, and admin backlog.
- Deliver Tier‑2 support, training guides, and release notes.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of Salesforce Administration in high‑tech/SaaS.
- Depth in Sales Cloud, Flows, security model, and reporting.
- Proficiency with Data Loader, SOQL, schema design, and field‑level governance.
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder communication.
- Problem‑solving and documentation skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM‑201) – required.
- Preferred: Salesforce Platform App Builder and/or Sales Cloud Consultant certifications.
- Experience with CPQ, subscription billing, ARR/ACV/TCV, and renewals is a plus.
- Familiarity with release management tools (Change Sets, DevOps Center, third‑party ALM).
