Job title: Salesforce Lead Developer – Service Cloud
Role Summary:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex Service Cloud solutions, driving architecture, configuration, and integration across Salesforce products. Serve as the technical authority, ensuring secure, scalable, and high‑performance implementations while mentoring the development team.
Expectations:
- Deliver enterprise‑grade Salesforce solutions that meet business and technical standards.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into robust designs.
- Champion best practices in coding, security, and governance, maintaining consistency across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and deliver Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud solutions.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce designs, including custom objects, Apex logic, and Lightning Components.
- Implement integrations with external systems (SAP, AWS, middleware) using REST/SOAP APIs and platform events.
- Build and maintain Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and triggers following coding standards.
- Define and enforce data security models, sharing rules, and compliance with IT/governance policies.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Gearset, GitHub, and Salesforce DX.
- Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing; optimize code against governor limits.
- Review code, mentor junior developers, and provide technical leadership within the team.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and ecosystem tools, applying relevant enhancements.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years IT experience, 6+ years Salesforce development/architecture.
- Expert in Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce.
- Proficient with SOQL, SOSL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Extensive experience integrating Salesforce with third‑party systems (REST/SOAP, middleware).
- Deep understanding of Omni‑Channel, Platform Events, Asynchronous Apex, governor limits, and security models.
- Strong command of Git, Salesforce DX, and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Gearset).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Agile mindset, experience with sprint‑based delivery.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (preferred); Platform Developer I and Administrator certifications add value.
- Additional certifications in AWS integrations or Financial Services Cloud are advantageous.
