Job title: Salesforce Developer
Role Summary: Architect, develop, and maintain business‑critical Salesforce applications, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and declarative tools. Drive integration with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, oversee deployment cycles, and support ongoing application performance and security.
Expectations:
- Deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Business Analysts, stakeholders, and teammates in Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.
- Continuously familiarize with Salesforce releases and adopt platform enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, code, and test Apex classes, triggers, and batch processing.
2. Build and maintain Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages.
3. Create and manage declarative configurations (objects, fields, flows, validation rules, process builder, and automations).
4. Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and outbound messaging.
5. Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and DevOps activities (change set, ANT, or Salesforce DX deployments).
6. Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing; troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
7. Document technical solutions and maintain code repositories.
8. Advise on best practices for security, data integrity, and platform governance.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, and Visualforce.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services, middleware, and integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with Git, Salesforce DX, or other source‑control and CI/CD tools.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional designs and technical solutions.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) is a baseline requirement.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (PD–70) strongly preferred; Platform Developer II (PD–70) is an advantage.
