Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager (Hospital)
Role Summary:
Spearhead and complete large‑scale IT infrastructure, operations, and service management projects within a healthcare environment, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget while adhering to regulatory, compliance, quality, and security standards.
Expectations:
- Deliver projects that meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Transition deliverables to operations with minimal disruption.
- Maintain high client and stakeholder satisfaction through clear communication and proactive issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and close projects such as data center migrations, network upgrades, cloud implementations, system integrations, and application go‑lives.
- Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to hit milestones.
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (IT engineers, system administrators, vendors, business users).
- Communicate status, risks, and outcomes through regular reports and presentations.
- Manage project budgets, procurement, and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, healthcare standards, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Support operational readiness, transition activities, and knowledge transfer.
- Continuously improve project management processes, methodologies, and tools.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years managing IT infrastructure and operations projects in medium‑to‑large enterprises.
- Deep knowledge of servers, storage, networking, cloud platforms, and ITIL/service management.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and risk‑management aptitude.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira) and collaboration tools (Teams).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
